At KnowMe Tag™, your privacy isn’t just protected — it’s respected. We believe personal information should stay personal, and we’ve designed our product and processes to reflect that.

What We Do

KnowMe Tag™ is a physical NFC tag that stores personal information locally — on the tag itself. It does not connect to the internet, and we do not collect, store, or track any data from the tag once it’s in your hands.


What Personal Data We May Handle

We only collect personal data in two cases:

  • Tag Programming: If you ask us to programme your tag, we temporarily collect the information you provide (e.g. emergency contact, medical notes) for the sole purpose of writing it to your tag.
  • Customer Support: If you contact us directly (e.g. via email or contact form), we may retain your name and contact details to respond to your query.

How We Use Your Data

  • We use your data only to fulfill your request (e.g. programming your tag or replying to your message).
  • We do not share your data with third parties.
  • We do not use your data for marketing unless you’ve explicitly opted in.

Data Retention

  • Any personal information provided for tag programming is deleted immediately after your tag is written and dispatched.
  • Contact form submissions or customer service queries may be retained for up to 6 months for support purposes.

Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Children’s Data
