About Us

Hi, I’m Maria A mother, a creative, and someone who knows that clear communication doesn’t always come easy.

KnowMe Tag™ began with a question that wouldn’t leave me alone: “If something happened… would the people nearby know what to do?”

Like many parents, I’ve seen how stress can scramble even the simplest things. My own AuDHD brain forgets my phone number in tense moments. My kids work hard to memorise it too, but panic has a way of twisting things out of reach.

I have a brilliant niece with a severe peanut allergy. I often wondered—what if someone near her could find her EpiPen instantly, instead of searching pockets and guessing? I have a dad who travels a lot. He’s sharp and independent, but lives with a recurring medical condition. What if he was rushed to an emergency room alone—and couldn’t remember the details they needed?

So I made KnowMe Tag™: a small, quiet tool to help when your voice falters, your memory blurs, or your story deserves to be heard clearly. Designed and produced in Bunclody on the Carlow/Wexford border, each tag carries intention and heart.

Who It’s For

KnowMe Tag™ supports anyone whose words might not arrive when they’re needed most:

  • A child overwhelmed under pressure or a person with speech challenges.

  • Solo travellers navigating new places or adults with dementia.

  • People living with epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, or severe allergies.

  • Those whose minds freeze in moments of trauma or sensory overload.

How It Works

You are the author of your own safety. We provide the tag, and you choose exactly what it says. Using our simple guide, you programme your information directly onto the chip using your own smartphone.

  • Total Privacy: Your information is stored on the tag, not in a cloud or database.

  • Flexible Modes: Choose Live Profile for a "no-app" scanning experience on all modern phones (including iPhone 16), or Off-Grid for 100% signal-free safety.

  • Always Updateable: As your life changes, your tag changes with you. Update your contacts or medical notes anytime at home.

You might include:

“Call my sister: 087 xxx xxxx”

“EpiPen in outside pocket”

“I have a heart condition. Medication list in wallet.”

“Please speak slowly. I may need help.”

What We Stand For

  • That understanding shouldn’t rely on words alone.

  • That safety can be designed to feel soft, kind, and human.

  • That your information should be available discreetly, only when it’s needed.

KnowMe Tag™ speaks when you can’t. Because being known shouldn’t be complicated—it should be instinctive. It all started with one mam, one family, and one idea: What if care was just a tap away?
